Hi! I'm Kristi Caccippio, the artist behind None of This is Cake (and Cakes by Kristi)!

A little bit about me: 

I live in the west Chicago suburb of Downers Grove, Illinois with my partner Bob and our 3 amazing dogs, snake, turtle, and a truly comical amount of plants. 

I am a trained, award-winning pastry chef and cake artist with an extreme passion for art in all forms- in fact, I hold Associate's degrees in Art, Science, and Baking and Pastry from the College of DuPage.

At the end of 2024, after 14 years in the baking and pastry industry, I made the leap to leave a job I absolutely loved at ECBG Cake Studio to pursue my dream of becoming a full-time glass artist. 

When I'm not in my home studio or teaching, I can usually be found outside with my dogs in the garden!
